MLB The Show 21

PlayStation Studios’ MLB The Show is Making Its Xbox Debut this April

It looks like the latest instalment in PlayStation’s MLB The Show series is making the jump to Xbox this April, PlayStation announced. The cover athlete for the San Diego Studio developed title is Fernando “El Nino” Tatis Jr.

The PlayStation 1st party series has been exclusive to the PlayStation brand since its first entry back on the PS2 close to a decade and a half ago. The official reveal is not a total shock as it was revealed back in late 2019 that MLB The Show would be a multiplatform release going forward, starting in 2021.

With MLB The Show 21 coming to more than one platform this time around includes the introduction of cross-platform play and cross-progression, a series first. That’s right, PlayStation and Xbox will be able to play with each other and carry your progress between the two console versions,

More features of the game will be revealed starting in March as part of a six-part series Feature Premiere stream. Until then more news is coming soon, MLB The Show 21 Collector Edition will be showcased on February 3rd.
