If you’ve been playing Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, you know that there are a ton of sidequests to complete during each arc. Some offer an easy task like delivering an item, others ask you to face off against an enemy. You can only complete quests within an arc during the initial period and once you move on past various story checkpoints, lose out on available quests.
Thankfully, as it turns out, Bandai Namco has an update coming to alleviate that issue of missing out on sidequests. In a tweet on the official account for Bandai Namco, the company revealed an upcoming update would provide a time machine to travel back in time and complete any outstanding sidequests.
A FREE update is headed your way in #DragonBall Z: Kakarot!
Help Arale and Gatchan in a new sub quest, and get access to the Time Machine to travel back to previous arcs and complete the sub quests you've missed! pic.twitter.com/i0dGzln5gP— BANDAI NAMCO UK (@BandaiNamcoUK) January 21, 2020
From what I understand, it is like a chapter select and I’m curious it acts similar to how Noctis went back in time in Final Fantasy XV through Umbra the dog. I like the fact we’re going to at least have the option to go back in time to finish off the abundance of sidequests available in the game.
