Telltale and Mojang announced the release date and special guest stars for the sixth episode of Telltale’s Minecraft: Story Mode.
Telltale has roped in a bunch of guest stars popular throughout the Minecraft community for this episode, all playing characters original to their own YouTube videos. Players will be able to interact with Joseph Garrett (Stampy Cat), Stacy Hinojosa (Stacy Plays), Dan Middleton (DanTDM The Diamond Minecart), Lizzie Dwyer (LDShadowLady), and Jordan Maron (CaptainSparklez).
In ‘A Portal to Mystery’, Jesse and gang find themselves a strange new world overrun by zombies. When they are invited to take refuge in a spooky mansion, they find themselves thrown into a thrilling mystery accompanied by famous Minecraft community members.
Episode 6 will be the first episode in an add-on series of three new adventures. A Portal to Mystery will be available digitally on Tuesday June 7th on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, Mac, iOS, and Android.
The episode can be purchased as part of the new Adventure Pass for $14.99 USD which will grant you access to episodes 7 and 8 as they become available. The episodes are also available individually for $4.99 USD. You will need to own either Episode 1, or the season pass disc in order to purchase these add-on episodes.
