Minecraft Dungeons 2 And More Announced At Minecraft Live 2026

Minecraft Live 2026 popped off over the weekend, with a host of announcements, including the newly revealed Minecraft Dungeons 2.

The new dungeon crawler sequel is set to launch this year. The first was a great introductory dungeon crawler that was perfect for couch co-op. The latest entry will launch across Xbox Series X|S, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Steam, and Game Pass. More information will be coming soon.

That wasn’t all, with more info on a bunch of Minecraft-related events. Tiny Takeover is a game drop that changes the look of every baby mob in the game, changing the look of all the babies to their own unique models instead of just smaller versions of the bigger animal.

Chaos Cubed, another new drop on the way, was also shown off. New sulphur caves were debuted, areas filled with toxic effects that can make you dizzy, along with two new block sets in cinnabar and sulphur. The newest mob for the area, the sulphur cube, can absorb blocks and change attributes depending on what it ingests. Very Kirby of them. It gives the player more creativity in how they deal with it – give it ice, and they slide, give it wood, and it becomes more solid and cube-like.

The announcements even extend to the real world, with Minecraft World being a theme park opening in London in 2027. There’ll be plenty of Minecraft-themed attractions, including shops, food, and the first Minecraft rollercoaster. Alongside that, Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue is coming to more cities, with the experience reaching Herning, Singapore, Mexico City, and Chicago. A new experience is also on the way, with Minecraft Experience: Moonlight Trail happening in Buenos Aires in an actual forest.
