Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 2

Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 Titles Have Made An Appearance Online

During this week’s Nintendo Direct, Konami announced Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 was indeed coming to Switch in October. The internet rejoiced and moved on. Now, it seems like a data miner has discovered a potential list of Metal Gear Solid titles that should be a part of Volume 2.

As seen above, Nitroid discovered a timeline for the series on the Metal Gear Solid website with many placeholders for newer games. This includes Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, a notoriously exclusive game on PlayStation 3. Konami’s site indicates it’ll likely be made available as part of a collection that adds the PlayStation Portable title Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

MGS 4 revolves around Snake’s mission to stop Liquid Ocelot, who plans to seize control of the world’s military infrastructure using the nanomachines implanted in soldiers. Snake, now aging and suffering from accelerated aging due to his genetics, must confront his past and the inner demons associated with his identity as a legendary soldier.

It is one of the most sought titles in the series, given its exclusivity on the PlayStation 3.

Metal Gear Solid Collection Vol. 1 includes Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake.

Each main title in the line-up will also include an exclusive digital Screenplay Book and Master Book that details the story and characters in that game.
