Alongside the reveal of Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater, Konami also confirmed Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Volume 1.
The Vol. 1 collection contains the beginning of the Metal Gear series in one complete package, including:
- Metal Gear Solid
- Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (HD Collection version)
- Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (HD Collection version)
AThat’sccording to Konami, we’re going to “sneak back into the original games on PlayStation 5,” and you know I’m ready to do just that. Now, we need to get the Peace Walker and Acid collection next.
A press release from Konami includes a message from the developers working on the collection:
We will deliver the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection series, the most complete compilation that celebrates the 35th anniversary of the series. The Metal Gear Solid Master Collection allow fans to play the games as they were, as first released on the latest platforms.
The real question we’re likely all thinking is, will Volume 2 include Metal Gear Solid 4?
