Joining Mr. X Nighmare in Dotemu’s Streets of Rage 4 is Max Thunder, the latest playable character revealed for the sidescrolling brawler. Thunder was previously part of Streets of Rage 2 and the new trailer featuring him is below.
Max is the second of three confirmed characters, with Estel, previously a boss character in Streets of Rage 4, being the first reveal, we still have one more character to be revealed but there is no timeline on when this will happen.
Speculation on the last character is centred around Shiva, multiple outlets have all claimed it to be true, it is only a matter of time before we learn who the developers plan on adding to the roster. Max’s trailer showcases his wrestling techniques on a bunch of enemies as he suplexes thugs like it’s his job.
Expect to see the DLC later this year, and hopefully, we learn more about the Survival Mode expected to be added to Streets of Rage 4.
