Marvel’s Avengers is finally making its current-generation console debut alongside its Hawkeye Operation on March 18th, the developer announced during its Hawkeye War Table.
The PS5 and Xbox Series version of last year’s Marvel game will offer faster load times, higher frame rates, enhanced visuals in 4K resolution (1440p on Xbox Series S) and much more.
Players who played on the last generation version can transfer their profiles and save games to current generation consoles while continuing where they left off. In addition, the new version will feature cross-generation play between PS4 and PS5 players, the Xbox versions will include the same feature.
Hawkeye's story brings us face to face with a possible future where all hope is lost. With his bow and sword at his side – and the help of the rest of the Avengers – Clint must stop an invasion that would turn the world to ruin.

The whole War Table deep dive was solely focused on the upcoming Operation: Hawkeye – Future Imperfect. As the second chapter in Marvel’s Avengers Operation series, it picks up after Kate Bishop’s Operation as players are out in the shoes of Clint Barton, Hawkeye.
Hawkeye is tasked to find S.H.I.E.L.D. director, Nick Fury believes that only he can top the rise of AIM. Through that journey, Hawkeye finds himself involved in a time-bending experiment that transports him to a future Earth destroyed by the Kree. The player will meet and fight Maestro, an older version of Hulk under a new name. Maestro is like Smart Hulk from Avengers: End Game but a more twisted and villainous version of that character.
The operation is heavily inspired by the old man Hawkeye storyline and many others, who you’ll meet in Marvel’s Avengers operation which is set to launch on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Stadia on March 18th.
