Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls Final Team Line-up Announced With the Reveal That Ghostrider Will Lead Blade, Loki, and Deadpool Into Battle

It was a pretty busy time for fighting game announcements at EVO 2026, but Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls did not leave us hanging as publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Arc System Works revealed the game’s final team line-up, the “Samurai Outriders” led by previously announced character Ghost Rider, will be joined by newly announced characters of Blade, Loki, and Deadpool.

Out of all the teams now known, this one is a bit more questionably put together. Two members of Marvel’s supernatural faction, the Midnight Suns, with Ghost Rider and Blade, feel right to be on a team together, but adding Loki and Deadpool just adds a lot of on-brand chaotic energy to the line-up that I kind of love. One notable detail is that Nolan North is reprising his role as Deadpool in the Merc with a Mouth’s titular 2013 Activision title, Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls.

The announcement of the final team line-up now brings the game’s roster of 20 characters to light, as previously leaked. The other characters already announced include Captain America, Iron Man, Black Panther and Hulk as part of the Avengers team, Doctor Doom, Magneto, Green Goblin and Carnage as part of the Knight of Doom team, Wolverine, Magik, Storm, and Danger as part of the Unbreakable X-Men team, and Spider-Man, Star-Lord, Ms. Marvel, and Peni Parker as part of the Amazing Guardians team.

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is set to launch on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store) and PS5 on August 6th.
