Lost Words: Beyond the Page is coming from developer Sketchbook Games with Modus Games on publishing duties. A new trailer was revealed last night at the New York Game Awards.
With Rhianna Pratchett developing the narrative on Lost Words: Beyond the Page, the game is described as a narrative-driven, atmospheric puzzler that takes place within the pages of a young girl’s diary. As the player, you’ll explore the pages and world of Estoria, where using your words is a power in itself.
Lost Words: Beyond the Page has won over a dozen game awards and accolades, and you’ll explore the pages of Estoria while uncovering an emotional tale of loss and growth that tests Izzy, the heroine of this story.
I like the artstyle of Lost Words: Beyond the Page,which resembles watercolour artwork, as well as the the fact that David Housden, who previously worked on Thomas Was Alone as a composer, is scoring the game.
If you’re interested, Lost Words: Beyond the Page is set to launch this spring for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC.
