Sega and developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio will launch the sequel to Judgment next month and today we’ve got the official voice cast, with much of the original cast reprising their roles.
The action-oriented Yakuza spin-off launched in 2019 in the West and was met with a ton of positive reception. Earlier this year, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio began teasing a sequel before revealing Lost Judgment a game set between Kamurocho and Yokohama as Yagami works on a new, explosive case.
The full voice roster is below and I’m happy to see Gren Chun and Crispin Freeman reprise their roles as Yagami and Kaito once more.
- Greg Chun as Takayuki Yagami
- Artt Butler as Akihiro Ehara
- Stephanie Sheh as Saori Shirosaki
- Erica Lindbeck as Yoko Sawa
- Mark Whitten as Sugiura
- Todd Haberkorn as Jin Kuwana
- Brent Mukai as Daimu Akutsu
- Matt Y. King as Kazuki Soma
- Crispin Freeman as Masaharu Kaito
The recent dispute in Japan over Judgment’s release on PC has spurred talks of a third game, but I’m keeping positive that the legal hurdles will topple over and give fans more games featuring these characters. With Yakuza: Like a Dragon now acting as the mainline series and shifting genres to being an RPG, Judgment is where classic Yakuza fans will find comfort.
Lost Judgment launches on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox One on September 24.
