Supermassive Games and Bandai Namco announced Little Nightmares 3 in the lead-up to Opening Night Live 2023. The third entry in the Little Nightmares series will feature co-op for the first time. Tarsier Studios, the original developer of the series, has moved onto a new IP, leaving The Quarry‘s developer to take over.

Tarsier Studios says that the choice is there for you if you want to play with a friend or online. An AI companion will be available if you want to tackle it solo.
Playing as either Low or Alone, the two children are lost in a gloomy world, trying to escape a considerable threat looming in the shadows.
The two children are equipped with items that allow them to solve puzzles and defend themselves against new and dangerous challenges. Low can use a bow and arrow, while Alone has a wrench, but they also need to keep their wits about them as they try to survive the Spiral.

Little Nightmares 3 launches in 2024.
