From yesterday’s review cycle for Horizon Forbidden West, Guerilla Games’ follow-up sequel is not only worth checking out, but it’s something you’re going to get lost in. So much so it looks like PlayStation has recruited Lego to create some exciting new toys to help satiate your hunger for more of this world.
Over on the PlayStation Blog, Sony revealed its collaboration with Lego featuring a Tallneck and Aloy Minifigure. The set will include 1,222 pieces and is scheduled to release on May 1, 2022, for $99 CAD. I’m already getting my payment ready for when pre-orders decided to go live.
Sony says Lego figured out a way to use clever building techniques to capture the authenticity behind the Tallneck’s details, standing at 34 cm (13.5 inches) high and includes dilapidated traffic lights and fauna as well as Aloy with her bow and spear, and a Watcher machine.
LEGO Model Designer Isaac Snyder: “I fell in love with Horizon Zero Dawn the first time I played it. It’s a futuristic world full of gorgeous scenery, strong characters, threatening machines, and a rich story. The Guerrilla designers were a huge inspiration and help in capturing the spirit of this universe in LEGO form. The Horizon fan community is so creative, and this model is dedicated to their passion and imagination.”
Horizon Forbidden West launches on February 18, 2022.
