Koch Media is expanding its publishing house and creating a new premium gaming label, the company announced today. The Prime Matter label is dedicated to delivering brilliant immersive games from studios all across the world.
With all the growth Koch Media has seen over the last few years, both big and small developers have found success partnering with the global publisher. Now, the company looks to expand its label portfolio to meet the growing demands and opportunities to provide more games to a diverse audience. As Prime Matter, the label will be publishing a rich portfolio of new titles across various genres including studios like Warhorse Studios.
“Over the past 25 years of success, we have seen Koch Media grow significantly,” said Klemens Kundratitz. “From ambitious indies taking their first step who need that full development and publishing support without compromising their dream, to the big studios that required our well established global distribution and publishing network, the more opportunities we created the more it made sense to add an additional string to our bow.”
Prime Matter will be housed out of Munich, Germany and includes a mix of veterans and newcomers, creating a diverse, multi-cultural team full of gaming experts.
Leading the label is Koch Media’s Mario Gerhold – Prime Matter will lead through creativity, expression and passion, with games that will grip and enchant with enthralling story-telling, winning over audiences with its incredible moments and larger-than-life experiences.
