THQ Nordic acquired the property in 2018 but has since then been silent on what they were planning. Originally launching in 2012, the game was developed by 38 Studios, a studio founded by MLB pitcher Curt Schilling. While the game received positive reviews and sold well, the studio shuttered soon after due to owing investors millions. There’s also the loan from the state of Rhode Island; the studio defaulted on a loan of $1.125 million.
