Arena7664 took to Twitter to announce that Kingdom Hearts Union χ [Cross] and Kingdom Hearts Dark Road are now on PC. Both titles serve as prequels to the Kingdom Hearts series and tie into the fourth game, which has recently reappeared at Disney D23 last month. Fans looking for a reason to dive in should consider that these delisted titles focus on major elements of the series like the Keyblade War and the origins of Xehanort, the main antagonist in the first three games.
If you’re keen to check these two titles out, Arena7664 reveals they’ve adjusted both games, so you no longer need to grind levels. Instead, you can press a button to level up automatically so you can watch all cutscenes, have the right BP, and speed up/slow down gameplay. If you’re short on time but still want to play these titles, you can do it without the extra grind. You can also speed up battles by up to 8x to save time.
Since shutting down in 2021, Kingdom Hearts Union χ [Cross] has become important to the future of the series, so it’s nice to see someone pick up the mantle and carry these games forward. Now, all the cutscenes are available to watch freely.
