Jett: The Far Shore

Jett: The Far Shore Launches on October 5

Sword & Sworcery co-creator Superbrothers A/V Inc. and Pine Scented Software Ltd. revealed a new trailer for Jett: The Far Shore days after announcing the game had gone gold. As part of today’s Opening Night Live, the new trailer confirmed the release date: October 5, 2021.

In Jett: The Far Shore players hop on an interstellar adventure to carve out a future for people ‘haunted by oblivion.’ Playing as ‘anchorite’ Mei, you are the first to deploy onto a mythical ocean planet. Using a ‘jett’ Mei will explore the vast planet and head into the unknown. Your vehicle is capable of a few things but on this planet, you’ll be able to skim low over waves, roar up pristine coastlines and carve through otherworldly woods.

“Jett began long long ago, even before Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP, when Craig D. Adams at Superbrothers A/V and I met, said Patrick McAllister of Pine Scented Software Ltd in a new PlayStation Blog post, where he shares a bit more on JETT’s origins. We hope our project resonates with you, and if it does, please consider embarking with us!

And to make Jett: The Far Shore even better, the game is scored by Scntfc, the composer behind Oxenfree and Superbrothers: Sword & Sorcery.
