Jeffrey Wright To Reprise Isaac In The Last of Us Season 2

In The Last of Us Season 2, Jeffrey Wright will be reprising his role as Isaac, which he originally performed in The Last of Us Part 2. He played the voice and motion capture for Isaac Dixon, a significant antagonist in the sequel. HBO describes the character as “the quietly powerful leader of a large militia group who sought liberty but instead has become mired in an endless war against a surprisingly resourceful enemy.”

Wright will join returning series leads Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsey, Gabriel Luna, and Rutina Wesley in the series. The second season includes newcomers Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Isabela Merced as Dina, Young Mazino as JesseAriela Barer as Mel, Tati Gabrielle as Nora, Spencer Lord as Owen, and Danny Ramirez as Manny. Catherine O’Hara will also guest-star in an undisclosed role.

In our review of The Last of Us Part 2, I said that it “is marvellous in every aspect, it’s a technical masterpiece, and most importantly it does things very few developers ever do: it offers diversity and inclusion. What you’ll see in this game is something we won’t see for another decade. “Art begins with resistance – at the point where resistance is overcome. No human masterpiece has ever been created without great labour.”
