On Friday, NetherRealm Studio streamed a new episode of Kombat Kast, a YouTube show where the developers talk about upcoming sequel Mortal Kombat 11. During the stream, a new kombatant which fans let the studio know they wanted Jade back, and now she’s back!
Jade, a fan-favourite fighter was noticeably absent from Mortal Kombat X, but yesterday’s stream reveal confirmed her return. So far, the reaction to her reveal comes off as really positive and fans are rejoicing on her return to the series. If you follow the lore, Jade certainly doesn’t look the same. In this case, she’s dead and been resurrected a Revenant.
Mortal Kombat 11 launches on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch on April 23, 2019.
