Robert Kirkman’s Invincible, the comic-turned-television show, is getting a visual novel on PC. Announced as part of its San Diego Comic-Con presentation, Invincible Presents: Atom Eve is coming later this year.
Terrible Posture Games is developing, and they’re a veteran studio with some great talent behind them. They’ve previously worked on The Walking Dead: Last Mile and Mothergunship, and Creative Director Jill Murray was the Narrative Lead on Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and Boyfriend Dungeon. Art Director Rossi Gifford worked at Riot Games, Marvel, and Skybound.
Now they’ve set their sights on Invincible Presents: Atom Eve, the visual novel that explores Atom Eve’s life outside the story shown in the comics and tv series. A visual novel allows the developers to show the difficulties of being a superhero while dealing with school, friends, family, and romance. You’ll face difficult decisions as you shape Atom Eve’s relationships and set up a definitive outcome to the story across multiple paths, choosing how to develop Eve’s abilities, unlock combat skills, and more.
Invincible Season Two kicks off on November 3, 2023. Following a mid-season hiatus, the second half of Season Two will premiere in early 2024.
