Indivisible’s New Trailer Focuses on Combat

I’ve been eagerly awaiting the release of the upcoming action-RPG Indivisible for a while now. Developed by Lab Zero Games and published by 505 Games, we’re getting a glimpse of the battle system, in addition to the full opening animation last week by Studio Trigger.

Indivisible features a unique battle system paired with hand-drawn art that looks fantastic in motion. In the trailer embedded at the top of this post, you see how excellent the game looks and plays as well as how powerful protagonist Ajna’s Heruka form is. The battle system actually reminds me Valkyrie Profile, a game I spent playing as a child, and one of my favourite games from tri-Ace. Ajna is able to use her allies as her power and by calling on their strength, proves to be an unstoppable force on her own. Each person Ajna calls upon is able to unleash a flurry of hits into a combo against the enemy.

Indivisible launches on October 8 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. A Nintendo Switch port launches a few days after.
