Hugely successful free-to-play gatcha RPG Honkai: Star Rail was given a release date at today’s State of Play. The next HoYoverse game has been out on PC and mobile for a while, but we finally got a release date for the PlayStation 5 port — October 11, 2023.
Honkai: Star Rail follows in the footsteps of HoYoverse’s previous release, Genshin Impact, another massive success. Honkai changes things by adapting a turn-based battle system in space as a group of young adventurers tasked with the universe’s safety. The free game runs on microtransactions built around summoning new characters to add to your party.
Honkai: Star Rail is available now on PC and mobile and is launching on PS5 on October 11, 2023.
