Sony’s revealed the two games coming to PlayStation Plus subscribers for free, as part of their subscription to the service. We’re getting two highly-rated games and one of them is a collection, so you’re technically getting three games!
Sonic Mania launched in 2017 and was a huge hit for Sega. The throwback to Sonic’s 2D roots on the Sega Genesis was everything a fan could want and more with a lovingly-crafted game for diehard fans of the series.
Sonic, Tails and Knuckles face off against their old nemesis, Dr. Eggman, across a mix of re-imagined classic stages and brand new zones. Expect lightning-fast platforming thrills, countless collectibles, hidden areas, and both competitive and cooperative multiplayer modes for two players.
Next up is Borderlands: The Handsome Collection which includes both Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, as well as all the downloadable content released.
As such, you have until June 3 to pick up May’s free games, so be sure to do that. Overcooked and What Remains of Edith Fitch should not be missed!
