Dreams developer, Media Molecule announced the final nominees for its third annual Impy Awards on the PlayStation Blog. The winners are set to be announced live on a big stage show on the PlayStation studio’s Twitch and YouTube channels which will start on February 27th at 12 PM ET.
Winners of the 23 categories will receive a golden (not real gold) Imp trophy which editorial manager, Jen Simpkins jokingly says “about weighs the same weight as senior coMmunity manager Tom Dent’s cat and he’s a powerful beast […] the cat, we mean […] but also Tom.” Simpkins adds that the award show aims to “celebrate the very best of Dreams and its brilliant community from the past year” and will be full of “fun, honest and minimal chaos”
Voting for the Dreams awards closed earlier this month but the developer wants anyone anticipating the event to send a message by using the hashtag #ImpyAwards on social media to discuss the awards before it officially goes down this Sunday.
