Microsoft revealed a new Halo game to kick the night off – it’s called Halo Infinity and it is is looking good! Halo Infinite is powered by an entirely new engine that was created by 343 Industries, the current studio working with the Halo franchise. Dubbed the Slipspace Engine, the engine was shown at E3 and the trailer showcased what their new engine can do, an engine that helped them acheive their goals.

Over on 343’s website, the studio published a blog post about Halo Infinite and the Slipspace Engine and the game features a new art style that “draws significant inspiration from the most iconic and historic parts of the Halo franchise and your feedback, all while modernizing and taking advantage of the full power of the Xbox One family,” Chris Lee, the Studio Head explained, “The new Master Chief helmet directly showcases our new art style.”

Also, if you didn’t like how much time Master Chief received in Halo 5, worry not, as 343 promises we will see this game focus on him and where he goes after Halo 5.
