GRIS Is Getting A PS5 and Xbox Series X|S Release On December 13th

Alongside Technical Enhancements for both New Gen Versions

Well, it looks like a beloved game is making the jump to the newest consoles as publisher Devolver Digital has announced that developer Normad Studio’s GRIS will release on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles on December 13th which lines up with the fourth anniversary of the game’s first release on PC.

For the uninitiated, GRIS can be described as an ” experience with almost no text, only simple control reminders illustrated through universal icons. The game can be enjoyed by anyone regardless of their spoken language.” For anyone who has picked up the game before, this version on both consoles will come with a sleuth of technical enhancements which you can check out – alongside the trailer – below.

  • PS5: Runs in 2K resolution at 120 FPS, as well as DualSense features including haptics, speaker, and more
  • Xbox Series S: Runs in 2K resolution at 120 FPS
  • Xbox Series X: Runs in 4K resolution at 60 FPS or 2K resolution at 120 FPS


GRIS is a hopeful young girl lost in her own world, dealing with a painful experience in her life. Her journey through sorrow is manifested in her dress, which grants new abilities to better navigate her faded reality. As the story unfolds, GRIS will grow emotionally and see her world in a different way, revealing new paths to explore using her new abilities,” the game’s description says via Devolver Digital.
