Granblue Fantasy: Relink has a new trailer this weekend, one that I’ve been excited to check given that fans have been waiting years for an update.
This weekend is Granblue Fantasy Fes, an event to celebrate the mobile game Granblue Fantasy. Cygames was at the digital event and confirms that 2023 is still the launch window for the action RPG.
Cygames took over development in 2019 from PlatinumGames, leading to several delays as the team corrected the ship and dealt with the pandemic while continuing development.
For those on hand at the event, Cygames has a demo available. From the look of gameplay demos seen on YouTube, the gameplay is a solid mix of action with open-world exploration. There are even summons you’ll be able to call in to assist you when the odds are against your party.
Granblue Fantasy: Relink will launch on PS5, PS4, and PC later this year.
