Are you finished with God of War Ragnarök or are you ready for another playthrough? Santa Monica Studios has announced Photo Mode is available today so I’m redownloading my copy after nabbing the Platinum trophy last month.
Grace Orlady, the Lead Community Manager posted on the PlayStation Blog that an update for God of War Ragnarök is going live today. “Since the release of photo mode in God of War (2018), we’ve been continuously amazed by the amount of talent and passion in the Video Game Photographer community that has gathered to the game,” says Orlady.
The update allows players to apply expressions to Kratos, Atreus, Freya, Brok, Sindri, Tyr, Angrboda, Thor, and Thrúd in scenes. You can also hide main or side characters in a scene.
Additionally, adjust the camera controls with:
- Field of View
- Focal Length
- Camera Roll
Adjust shutter controls with:
- Depth of Field
- Focus Distance
- F-Stop
Adjust brightness and filters with:
- Film Grain
- Exposure
- Filter Intensity, with finer controls for Vibrance and Saturation
If you like to touch up your photos, now you can apply vignettes, borders, and logos.
The blog post goes into detail about how to use the various tools available to players so be sure to head over to the PS Blog for tips.
