San Diego Comic-Con is in full swing, with PlayStation dropping news about God of War Laufey and more about the future of the series.
Sony confirmed that the wait for the next installment will not be a long one at all, with the Deborah Ann Woll led God of War Laufey launching on February 16, 2027. It follows Laufey, Kratos’ wife who passed away before the events of God of War (2018), with her death serving as the catalyst for all the events in that entry. Now, we follow Laufey as she fights through the afterlife.
Cory Barlog, Santa Monica Studio head of creative, was on sight to also announce that the next Kratos game is also in development. No word of when that will release, but Barlog did confirm that it will directly connect to the events of God of War Laufey.
