Gillette Wingman: Pre-date Etiquette

GW-PreDate_First-Pic-in-Post

This week we’re discussing pre-date etiquette and what you should do to make sure you don’t come across as a psycho. Yep, I said it.

Courting is difficult and there is so much you should filter out and work through.

You did however, already ask her out and she said yes, and this is a big thing because that’s the difficult part. Don’t wait too long to confirm the date and set up a date.

Keep texting to a minimum and keep it on topic. When you do decide to send your lady friend a text then you should schedule a date and time that is mutually beneficial to both parties and plan your date from there. The exception to this rule to me is, when she texts you and is trying to interact with you, follow the lead and text accordingly; keep on her pace and keep it light, save the serious conversations for face to face.

Gillette Wingman is on point again this week with his advice – and I agree with every point he made in this video. Dating is a fine art and you need to be very precise on what you plan to do.

Keep your social media interactions in check and don’t overdo your liking of her pictures.

The biggest thing is to be respectful – keep that in mind!

Our Wingman Rainbow Sun Francks (from Stargate Atlantis and CTV’s hit TV show The Listener) adds his two cents:

Now that you’re out the door and on your way to pick up your lady, you should give her fair notice that you’re on your way to meet her. When you show up at her place, don’t honk at her or send her a text message, no. Turn off your car and go to her door to pick her up, open the car door for her and be chivalrous.

We still have a lot to talk about both here and on thewingman.ca!
