Developer One More Level has announced a release date for Ghostrunner, the first-person cyberpunk adventure slasher.
I’ve spent some hands-on time with Ghostrunner earlier this year and I enjoyed how fast-paced and rewarding the gameplay is. Learning how to get around a particularly difficult enemy is always a thrill and offers that satisfying sense of overcoming a tough obstacle. Of course, it helps you’re essentially superhuman and use a futuristic katana to make enemies fall with ease.
If you decide to pre-order, you’ll gain two katanas, one specially designed for each launch platform and unattainable at launch.
Ghostrunner is a hardcore first-person perspective slasher packed with lightning-fast action, set in a grim, cyberpunk megastructure. Climb Dharma Tower, humanity’s last shelter, after a world-ending cataclysm. Make your way up from the bottom to the top, confront the tyrannical Keymaster, and take your revenge.
Ghostrunner launches on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG on Tuesday, Oct. 27.
