We’ve written about Ghostrunner before and it’s been some time since we’ve last heard about the game but today features a new CGI trailer full of style and bumping music.
Ghostrunner is a first-person parkour game set in a dystopian cyberpunk society that’s got a new demo on Steam today and is available until May 13 on PC. Playing as a warrior, you’ll cut down anyone standing in your path, using your skills to nimbly move around the city, and a grappling hook to reach heights, all while delivering stylish kills.
After a cataclysmic event, the remnants of humanity dwell within Dharma Tower, a megastructure constructed as a temporary shelter. A century of conflict led to a brutal division of Dharma — the lower the floor, the lower the resident’s status. The enigmatic Keymaster maintains this imposed caste system, but the people have had enough. Ascend the tower as a Ghostrunner capable of blistering speed and deadly precision, and learn the truth behind the Keymaster’s reign.
You’ll join the resistance known as Climbers to cut through the Keymater’s empire and with danger around every corner, you need to be quick on your toes by dodging bullets, learning to wall-run and slicing through enemies.
