It’s hard to believe, but the masterpiece — if not a little bit of a safe one — that is Ghost of Yōtei turns one in October 2026.
And that will be celebrated on October 1, 2026 — when Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition comes to PS5.
Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition offers the full and complete package of Atsu’s quest for revenge, with a few additions that include: new tracks for “Watanabe” mode that will be available throughout the entire game when the mode is enabled, new photo mode stamps and additional cosmetics for New Game+.
In addition to the base game, there’s a brand new story of past and present in the “Ghost of Yōtei: Echoes of Sekigahara” major DLC expansion.
In the past, learn about Atsu’s time on the mainland, and meet Nagato — a mysterious figure from Atsu’s past who has arrived in Ezo.
We’ll face Atsu’s time in the Battle of Sekigahara. Learn all about a key moment in her life before she returned home for her quest for vengeance. On offer are new enemies, new heavy weapons, new armour sets, new dyes and more.
In the present, you’ll explore a previously unseen valley once inhabited by The Snake and his gang of loyal followers, the Vipers.
Continuing the advancements for solo players is the new “Ghost of Yōtei: Most Wanted” mode, which acts as a roguelike survival mode.
New runs start as you accept bounties, where taking down enemies will earn you perks, as well as unlock more characters to play as. Today’s trailer reintroduces our leading lady Atsu, who is a master with the dual katana. We see Oyuki, who excels with the kusarigama, as well as Nagato, who mows down waves with a yari.
Ghost of Yōtei Legends multiplayer co-op is also here with support for up to four players, and multiple gameplay modes culminating in a “Raid” boss battle.
Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition also includes all of the previously released in-game content from the Ghost of Yōtei Digital Deluxe Edition, as well as the Charm of Hokkyokusei.
