Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut on PC To Have New PlayStation UI, Cross-play, And Trophies

The Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut port is coming to PC in May, and Nixxes Software will add some great stuff to the mix when it launches.

“As we’ve announced previously, Ghost on Tsushima Director’s Cut on PC contains the full game, the Iki Island expansion, and the cooperative online multiplayer Legends mode. Thanks to cross-play support, Legends players on Windows PCs can team up with players on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles and use in-game voice chat to communicate. You will be required to sign into your PlayStation Network account to access Legends mode,” says Julian Huijbregts, Online Community Specialist, Nixxes Software.

Huijbregts says Ghost of Tsushima will be the first PlayStation title on PC to use the new PlayStation overlay, which includes your Friends list, Trophies, Settings, and Profile. The feature will be available on PC and accessible in-game by pressing Shift + F1.

You can sign in with your existing PlayStation account to access your Friends list, Trophies, and cross-play with the PlayStation UI available in single-player and Legends mode.

One of the main goals when porting the game was ensuring that Nixxes provides an excellent experience for players. This is done by offering a range of graphic presets aimed to keep older hardware running well.

Nixxes posted the recommended specs for Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut.

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut on PC is fully optimized for ultra-wide monitors, with support for 21:9 and 32:9 resolutions. Nixxes says 48:9 resolutions and triple monitor set-ups are supported.

You can boost the framerate with NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR 3, or Intel XeSS. You can enhance image quality with  NVIDIA DLAA or AMD FSR 3 Native AA. The DualSense will also be supported with haptic feedback and adaptive triggers in wired mode.

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut launches May 16 on PC.
