‘Ghibli-Inspired’ Hoa Arrives This August

Hand-painted indie puzzle-platformer Hoa has been on our radar for a while now, and today, we learned that the final release date for Skrollcat’s latest anime-like adventure is August 24th!

The game will be available for download on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC. Digital editions will be roughly $20 CAD. But there will also be a physical bundle with an additional download code for the digital soundtrack available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Switch at the same time, and it will cost around $50 CAD.

PM Studios states, “Hoa is a beautiful puzzle-platforming game that features breathtaking hand-painted art, lovely music, and a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Players experience the magic of nature and imagination as they play the main character, Hoa, on her journey through breathtaking environments back to where it all began. Players will need a keen eye and the ability to solve exploration-based puzzles throughout the game. All the while, however, they will be able to relax to the organic rhythm of subtle storytelling and be intrigued by endless wonders. Everyone is encouraged to embrace their inner child, something that is both easier and harder than it may seem.”

We can’t wait for this one as we are always ready for a good puzzle-platformer — especially one that looks like a Miyazaki movie!
