Last night on the Xbox channel, there was some big news. Well, depends if you like Gears of War or not, but, there will be a movie coming. With Gears of War 4 launching on Tuesday, excitement is high and what better time to announce that? Coalition Studio head Rod Fergusson announced that Scott Stuber (Ted) and Dylan Clark (Planet of the Apes) will be on board to produce the film.
Other than that, we don’t know anything else including when and where in the Gears timeline the film would take place in.
The track record of video game adaptations has not been good. We’ve seen bomb after bomb, others worse than others but nothing that has seen critic praise and massive numbers at the box office.
