Maple Powered Games and Freedom Games are working on G.I. Joe: Wrath of Cobra, a retro-inspired beat ’em up that’s launching in Q1 2024.
Announced at The MIX Next, players enter the G.I. Joe universe and play as Duke, Scarlett, Snake Eyes, Roadblock, and other fan favourites. You’ll navigate sea, land, air, and space through iconic locations like Cobra Island, the Pit, and Cobra’s underwater base while attempting to stop Cobra Commander.
you’ll use weapons, explosives, and more to take on the Coba, Troopers, Ninja Vipers, HISS Tanks, the Crimson Guard, and more. You can even deal with powerful combos and master special abilities from each character.
G.I. Joe: Wrath of Cobra features up to four players, a local and online co-op in Story or Arcade Mode. Wrath of Cobra uses a hand-drawn pixel style inspired by the cartoon and features a soundtrack from composer Tee Lopes.
G.I. Joe: Wrath of Cobra launches on PC and Switch next year.
