50v50 mode is back and better than ever in Fortnite Battle Royale. In the new improved mode, each team will approach the battlefield by bus from opposite sides of the map. The friendly bus will glow blue while the enemy bus will be red. The final storm circle will be visible from the start on the minimap and players have 10 minutes to loot the map while the storm closes in on the circle. Players will then have five minutes to fight and another five minutes for the storm to shrink completely.
Supply drops will fall every two minutes and will come in batches of 3-6. These will only land in the final storm circle. ‘Battle Lines’ have been added to the map in the form of a dotted line. Crossing this line will make enemy encounters a higher probability. Increases to resource gathering, item spawns, ammo and more have also been made.
Starting today until Sunday, April 22nd, players will earn double XP in game.
