A44 Games and Kepler Interactive revealed a new look at Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase.
The new property will introduce players to a new world described as a “gunpowder fantasy world where the gods, long thought to have abandoned humanity, suddenly return, casting open the door to the afterlife in their wake and releasing their army of undead from within.”
To me, that sounds like Everworld the follow-up series to Animorphs from K.A. Applegate in the late 90s.
To survive the return of the gods, humanity looks to Nor Vanek, a member of a Coalition army, and her companion Enki. The preview shown gave players a look at the world of Flintlock alongside some of the biomes players can explore including coastal highways and magical cathedrals.
