Fire Emblem: Three Houses Out In 2019

During Nintendo’s E3 Direct presentation we learned that a new Fire Emblem title was in the development for the Nintendo Switch.

A new episode of the Fire Emblem series comes to Nintendo Switch for the first time in spring of 2019. The player can maneuver the main character freely and interact with other characters to build relationships and gather information at various points within the game. This turn-based tactical RPG will put new strategic twists on battling, with formations of troops supporting individual units on the battlefield. Players will get to know three main characters – Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude – who play key roles in the story.

Three Houses is the first mainline Fire Emblem title to hit the Nintendo Switch, as last year’s Fire Emblem Warriors, was a Musou-style video game that had more in common with the Dynasty Warriors than the tactical series. Many of the traditional elements the series is known for will make an appearance, and quite honestly I adore the art-style of Three Houses, it’s colorful and detailed and exciting.

It also looks like we won’t see any iconic characters in this new entry but right now we also know next to nothing about the game, with time, I hope to see cameo reveals.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses will launch in 2019.
