Fans are getting their sneak peak at the season finale episode for The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series: A New Frontier, before its release on Tuesday May 30th on Playstation 4, Xbox One , PC, iOS and Android.
This Telltale series has had huge success since it first launched and in the season finale we see all our favourite character’s pushed further than anything we seen before. The Walking Dead series takes place in the world of Robert Kirkman’s award-winning comic book series (that inspired the critically claimed show) and offers an emotionally charged game experience; where player’s actions affect how their story plays out throughout the entire series. Telltale’s description of this episode is, “Richmond teeters on the brink of collapse as chaos reigns from all directions. The lives of its citizens and all those closest to Javier hang in the balance. The decisions you’ve made and bonds you’ve nurtured across the season will determine which characters now trust Javi to safeguard all they hold dear as the crisis pushes every relationship past its breaking point…”. There is no telling how this episode will end, but anything is possible for a Telltale game.
The Walking Dead: A New Frontier captured fans of the series attention but also attracted new fans; as the story lets players jump in fresh and also had familiar faces fans would recognize. Also players that have followed previous seasons have many options for tailoring their backstory and importing save files from various platforms. Telltale’s ability to cater to long time fans is probably why The Walking Dead: A Telltale Game has sold over 50 million episodes worldwide and earned many Game of the Year awards from outlets like Polygon, Games Radar and Metacritic.
