Perfect way to start the week I’d say. Square Enix is releasing Final Fantasy XII for the PlayStation 4 in 2017. While this is a Japanese release date, I am certain Square has plans to release the remaster over in the West.
The original release was back in 2006 for the PlayStation 2. According to Japanese magazine Famitsu, the remaster will be based on Final Fantasy XII International Zodiac Job System, a definitive version of Final Fantasy XII that never saw release outside of Japan. There will also be model enhancements, cutscene reworkings, shorter loading times, and auto save feature and a turbo mode to rush through the game.
Hopefully we’ll see it in 2017 over here in the West on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
