Square Enix revealed the North American package art for Final Fantasy VII Remake, as well as a handful of new screenshots and character renders.
First up is the fantastic new cover for the remake and it is beautiful. However, there is one small asterisk that should be attached to this photo.
Notice anything missing from the cover? There is no indication that this is only the first part of a series of video games and comes across as misleading. Most gamers following the development understand that fact but if you’re at the store and see this, you assume it is a complete experience.
A series of screenshots also released featuring the Sector 7 Slums and Seventh Heaven, the bar Avalanche uses as their base of operations. We also get a better look at Aerith, Tifa, Cloud, Barrett and the Materia system.
Final Fantasy VII Remake is shaping up really well, and to round off the post, the new gameplay revealed at Tokyo Game Show is embedded at the top.
The remake launches March 3, 2020 on PlayStation 4.
