Square Enix revealed the release date for Final Fantasy VII Remake: March 3, 2020. This news comes from a concert event hosted at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles at an event dedicated to Final Fantasy VII.
Originally revealed back in 2015, the long-gestating remake has been through the wringer behind the scenes. At one point, Square Enix took back control of a development from CyberConnect 2 and starting over from scratch on the project. A trailer last month after years of silence brought the game back into the public space.
Square Enix’s E3 Keynote takes place tomorrow at 9:00 PM EST and director Tetsuya Nomura that more information would be revealed tomorrow at the event. For now, soak in the new trailer and let’s wait for the big reveal tomorrow.
