Square Enix is gearing up to celebrate 40 years of Final Fantasy, starting with a new teaser website now live.
Right now, the Final Fantasy site serves as a landing page for the series. It links to the mainline numbered titles’ respective websites, with more to come in 2027 as the series hits a monumental birthday.
Next year, fans can expect Final Fantasy 14 Evercold to arrive in January, followed by Final Fantasy 7 Revelation launching in April, and I expect to see a lot more from Square Enix as it ramps up to celebrate.
I don’t know what else Square Enix has in store for 2027, but I anticipate we’ll finally see a teaser for Final Fantasy 17 in some capacity.
For now, fans can look forward to Final Fantasy Resonance when it arrives on October 22, 2026, for Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC. A free demo is available now.
