Everything Shown During Capcom’s E3 2021 Showcase

Today, Capcom held its E3 2021 live showcase, giving players a look at Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, Resident Evil, and The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles. Over the course of 30 minutes, Capcom delivered a handful of updates and reveals.

Let’s go over what Capcom featured in case you missed the presentation.

Resident Evil

To begin, Capcom provided an update for Resident Evil Village. While celebrating the franchise’s 20th anniversary, Tsuyoshi Kanda discussed RE: Verse, which is included for free to all players who purchased Resident Evil Village. Kanda announced that RE: Verse will be available in July.

Additionally, Resident Evil Village will be receiving DLC. However, details were withheld and will be announced at a later date.

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin – July 9, 2021

A new trailer for Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin was debuted. The trailer gave us a look at the central characters. On top of all that, the trailer showcased all the Monsties players can look forward to encountering.

Included in the segment was a look at the free content update planned. The Palamute update will be available on July 15th. A trial version will be available on June 25. Save data will be transferable. Linked data between the first Monster Hunter Stories and Wings of Ruin.

The full game will be released on July 9th for Nintendo Switch. Nintendo will also be releasing three Amiibos for Ena, Razewing Ratha, and Tsukino.

Monster Hunter Rise – June/July, 2021

Capcom provided a small content roadmap for Monster Hunter Rise. New content will be released through June and July, giving players new cosmetics. In-game events will provide new quests for players to complete.

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles – July 27, 2021

A trailer for The Great Ace Attorney Chronics, a prequel to the Phoenix Wright games, was debuted. Promising 10 cases as well as eight mini escapades. The game will sport two new gameplay features.

The in-depth trailer showed off some of the features players can expect as they investigate new cases, including Dance of Deduction and Summation Examination. For fans eager to crack some cases, The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles will be available on PlayStation 4, Switch and PC July 27, 2021.

Capcom Pro Tour 2021

Closing out the show, Capcom invited RobTV and Vicious, two voices in the competitive scene to speak about the publisher’s effort in the esports industry. Showcasing competitive Street Fighter V, the two encouraged competitive players to sign up on the Capcom Pro Tour website.
