Etrian Odyssey Origins

Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection Gets A New Trailer

Atlus is giving us a detailed look at their upcoming HD re-release bundle for the early editions of the much-loved JRPG map-making franchise Etrian Odyssey.

Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection features remastered versions of the first three games in the series for Nintendo Switch and PC — featuring a number of quality-of-life enhancements!

On the Nintendo Switch, touchscreen mapping functionality has been completely reimagined from the very-not-touchscreen days of the Nintendo DS that the series’ first entry appeared on so that you can plot your progress through the labyrinth, drawing walls and place icons to note special events and items.

On PC, Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection utilizes powerful full mouse support and functionality to help with map drawing, menus, and dungeon exploration.

What’s even bigger is that Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection adds new difficulty selection and save slots — something that made dungeon crawling through the earlier games a chore. Not to mention one of the most incredible ways to spend a ton on new batteries!

Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection launches on Nintendo Switch and PC on June 1, 2023.

Pre-orders for the Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection include three new HD Character Portrait DLC Sets, which feature beloved characters from the Persona, Shin Megami Tensei and Soul Hackers series. Each game has two additional characters to take into battle, with Joker and Ringo joining the cast in Etrian Odyssey HD. Demi-Fiend and Teddy jump into Etrian Odyssey II HD. And finally, Nahobino and Aigis bring some spark to Etrian Odyssey III HD!
