The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) of Canada has revealed what games topped the ranking as the best 10 selling games for October 2025, with Battlefield 6 taking the number one spot for one of the busiest months for game releases.
The rest of the rankings sees many of the usual sports titles taking a a variety of spots in the top 10 with PlayStation exclusive Ghost of Yōtei taking the number three spot, plus new entries in the Pokémon and Digimon franchises finding their place in the top 10. This is all according to an update on ESA’s Canada monthly top-selling games page on its website. The data was produced in collaboration with ESA Canada and marketing research firm Circana (formerly the NPD Group and IRI).

- NHL 26 (PS5 & Xbox Series X|S)
- Little Nightmares III (PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch & Nintendo Switch 2)
- The Outer Worlds 2 (PC, PS5 & Xbox Series X|S)
- Digimon Story: Time Stranger (PC, PS5 & Xbox Series X|S)
- NBA 2K26 (PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S & Nintendo Switch)
- Borderlands 4 (PC, PS5 & Xbox Series X|S)
ESA Canada notes that digital sales for Pokémon Legends: Z-A’s ranking has been omitted.
