Humanity

Enhance Announces Humanity

After releasing Rez Infinite and Tetris Effect: Connected on PlayStation VR2, Enhanced is back with its follow-up, Humanity.

It was shown as PS4/PSVR optional title in 2019 but today we’re seeing a whole lot more from the trailer shown at the State of Play. For starters, Humanity is an action-puzzle hybrid where you play as a dog controller in giant crowds of people.

Second, Humanity is coming to PS5 in addition to PS4 and PC on Steam this May. It will also include super intuitive stage creation and sharing tools.

Also, there’s a demo out today on all three platforms with the stage creation and sharing tools available until March 6, 2023.

Humanity stars a Shiba Inu who can command humans to jump, turn, push, float, shoot, and climb their way to salvation. The demo will have 10 levels with more than 90 coming to the full game later this year. Humanity will include obstacles, enemies, puzzles, unlockable skills, and more at launch.

If anything, knowing that director and visual designer Yugo Nakamura and famed game creator Tetsuya Mizuguchi are involved, I’m all in.
