With the release of Elden Ring’s expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, last month, Canadian gamers returned to the main game, leading to Elden Ring claiming to become the top-selling game in Canada for June 2024. his is according to ESA Canada’s monthly top-selling games, which were revealed on its updated website via the collaboration marketing research firm Circana (formerly the NPD Group).
This led to the reshuffling of the top game deck as Helldivers 2, which claimed the top spot in 2024 multiple times, has fallen but is still in the top ten ranking but at the lower end. Some other games in the list include June-released titles like Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD and Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. Some holdovers from last month also haven’t gone away, such as Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and Ghost of Tsushima, via its PC release, maintain their spots in the top ten, alongside Sea of Thieves’ PlayStation release from April. Other games include some for 2023 and Hogwarts Legacy.
